OFFERING

As your professional proofeditor, here is the value I will provide when partnering with you:

OBLIGATION

You may recall back in grade school the simplicity in those catchy CUPS versus ARMS concepts. CUPS refers to the editing process—or Capitalization, Usage, Punctuation, and Spelling—which I provide. ARMS refers to the rewriting process—or Add, Remove, Move, and Substitute. I do light copyediting—or minimally add and remove. See FAQ #6 for more. I focus on:

• Capitalization (incorrectly capitalized persons and places, etc.).
  
  

• Usage (light copyediting for clearer readability and sentence flow).

• Punctuation (incorrect periods, commas, quotation marks, etc.).
