I will leave inline comments in the document, and also provide you with a Beta report, outlining areas of concern and feedback, and also how these areas could be improved.
These areas will include:
- Content: Whether the book contains all the necessary information, without missing out vital pieces, I will also flag areas I feel need referencing
- Paragraph structure
- Comprehensibility: Whether the text could be easily understood by the target audience
- Progression: I will leave feedback on whether the book moved at a good pace, without jumping between points
- Titles and subheadings: whether they fit the context, and provide enough information
- Questions: I will leave comments where things don't make sense, or the information is incomplete
- Layout: whether images are too large, create too much blank space, or divide the text too much
My Beta report will also include my first impression of the book after reading the first section, and my last impression, after having finished the book. This will allow you to see whether your book is starting or ending strongly.
