You need an editor who knows the science behind your awesome futuristic world. As a microbiologist, I have taken courses in chemistry, physics, and neuroscience. I've logged research hours genetically engineering jellyfish, tagging sea turtles and even the classic rat behavior study. You know science fiction fans have high expectations and having your manuscript edited by a true scientist is a great start.I will carefully edit your manuscript to make sure it is consistent with current science and the world you created. Spelling and grammatical errors will be vaporized as if by lasers. You will receive two copies of your story. The first will contain my reader responses, suggestions for your writing and explanations of any changes. You will also get a clean copy without the notes. I will also create a detailed character sheet so we can develop each character's tone and motivations.
