WHAT I OFFER:

Proofreading

I will go through your manuscript and look for issues with:

• Spelling
• Punctuation
• Grammar
• Formatting 

Copy-editing

For copy-editing I look at all of the above plus:

• Consistency in regards to character, story, setting, timeline etc.
• Clarity – is your prose clear and readable?
• Redundant words and phrases
• Tenses
• and more ...

I work in Microsoft Word using Track Changes. I'll return two documents to you – one with my edits shown in red, and a ‘clean’ copy with the edits accepted.

I will edit any genre of fiction, but my favourites to edit are romance, young adult, chick-lit, historical, thriller, and children’s.
