**Editor of USA Today, Washington Post & Amazon Chart bestselling novels**Hello! This gig is for fiction and memoir authors who wish to publish their work at a commercial standard. Ineligible genres (self-help, poems, blog articles, etc.) will be canceled, resulting in penalties from Fiverr.
Developmental book editing is an intensive process, best-suited to manuscripts that have already received some level of external, structural feedback (see my bestselling beta reader gig). It includes:
- In-line comments inserted throughout the opening chapters regarding plot and character arcs, pace, tone, style, clarity, continuity, structure, and if you've adequately 'hooked' the reader.
- 20 - 40 min of audio notes covering key strengths, weak points, and opportunities. I don't just highlight issues but offer specific examples and story solutions.
This gig is for fiction genres and memoir, only. I also develop short stories, children's books, and screenplays, but please contact me for a custom quote before ordering. Non-fiction (self-help, blogs etc.) is not offered, but I'm happy to put you in touch with editors who can assist with your project.
