One of the most important things a writer should do before publishing their work is to hire an editor. While you can edit your work your self, it's much easier to miss grammatical mistakes and inconsistencies when reading your own writing.



My degree in Creative Writing focused on critiquing the work of my peers and professors. I will find any mistakes in your work that might otherwise get overlooked because of your familiarity with your writing. When I critique and edit writing I look for several things, including:

• Consistency in character voice
• General grammar and misspellings
• The flow of sentences and paragraphs
• Other errors specific to different genres of writing
