I will take on a novel up to 200k words and trim that baby down so that it is more marketable for publishers. Before you self-publish your manuscript as an e-book or submit it to an agent or press, come here for some efficient, sensible, intimate editing that will emphasize both your strength as a writer and your novel's potential success in the publishing world.



I have been a writer for 14 years. For 6, I have been editing. With a degree in creative writing and a certificate in publishing, I can provide current edits to fit with the Chicago Manual of Style as it exists today. 



I have three packages:

• Proofreading for grammar, readability, and spelling.
• Copy editing for readability, grammatical correctness, tone, and style. This includes following a style guide. 
• Developmental editing that delves into plot, structure, character development and arcs, and other elements of the story that may need to be tweaked for clarity or reader enjoyment.

For the last two packages, I will . . . 

• Read through your work once to get a feel for the novel and twice more to edit.
• Query any issues I find.
• Provide feedback on style choices.
